Ming and his sister Suki, are brother and sister, and are as cute as can be. Both were born in July of 2008, and were brought to Panther Ridge in November of 2008.
Ming responds to visitors quite vocally by his chuff, and his leopard cry. Ming will jump down from his treehouse to investigate visitors to his home.
The pair can also be seen bouncing off the enclosure walls into trees like precision acrobats.
Ming, like many of the other residents of Panther Ridge, has a medical condition which requires daily monitoring and care. He receives costly chiropractic sessions to keep his spine in alignment.
Being a species that jumps and climbs, we must make sure that he receives the care he needs to do what he does best – be a clouded leopard.
