Cheetahs

Kendi

Kendi came to Panther Ridge along with Nyambe when they were 3 months old to be raised as ambassadors for their species. As the most endangered big cat in Africa, these cheetahs have a very important role to play in educating the public and bringing awareness to the plight of the world’s fastest land mammal.

As ambassador cheetahs, Kendi and Nyambe will participate in on-site education programs including cheetah walks, fundraisers, twilight hours and much more!

Kendi is a very independent and outgoing cheetah. He loves greeting tour guests with a loud purr and always looks forward to his daily walks with his caretakers.

Nyambe

Nyambe came to Panther Ridge along with Kendi when they were 3 months old to be raised as ambassadors for their species.

Nyambe is a little more reserved and shy but he is still very sweet. He loves running around and playing with Kendi in their big enclosure, as well as going on his daily cheetah walks with his caretakers. His favorite thing to do is play soccer with his balls and coconuts.
