Amos is a black leopard who is truly a character.  He has been at Panther Ridge since he was 1 week old.

When he was young, Judy bottle-fed Amos and carried him around like a papoose: he went to Publix, movie theatres, PetSmart and horse shows.  Despite his current weight of over 150 lbs., Amos still believes that all leopards should be chauffeured to such exciting events.  If it weren’t for insurance prohibitions, he would still be attending Grand Prix events.

Amos is the nicest leopard you’ll ever meet. He has a very expressive face, and is a wonderful ambassador for special needs visitors.  He has a unique way of communicating with children and adults with disabilities.
